Get On The Bus
You wouldn’t think it’s so hard to get an add on a bus.
The Freethought Association of Canada is still fighting to get an atheist bus ad displayed in Nova Scotia. The Metro Transit is claiming that the ads are “too controversial” to run, but they are refusing to meet with the Freethinkers to discuss the situation. It’s the same bus add that already ran in England, Toronto, and Calgary, and there haven’t been any reports of mass riots in those areas.
Atheist bus ads have also been blocked from running in Italy.
A look alike Christian ad has been running in New Orleans with a tag line added at the end advertisng a Christian text message service for $9.99 a month.
