    Excellent! Who knew that there existed such an eloquent refutation of the absurdity of biblical fable so early, and by an Roman Emperor.

      I had a Russian history professor once (who shall remain nameless) that sent me his syllabus on a class on atheism he was teaching (which I suspected was a cover story for something). He seemed convinced that there were not such thing as atheists before the 20th century. I gave him a few ancient Greeks to go look up. I could have thrown some Hindus in there as well, but I didn’t want to kill the poor guy.
