Sarah Palin’s Early Retirement Starting to Make Sense
I get it. Sarah Palin’s whiny quitting finally makes sense. The GOP wanted someone that had an audience, yet was completely expendable (i.e., no hope of ever getting elected to any public office ever) to say all the bat shit crazy stuff real politicians can’t say in public so they can keep the crack pot vote.
This isn’t just a matter of having a different opinion. I would expect different opinions on such a big move as a public health care plan. But, all their talking points are false. Why? Are they too stupid to actually read the bill? This really makes me very nervous about the people in office: that they are so fucking stupid they aren’t capable of understanding the term “end-of-life care”. It’s been in the fucking news in the last few decades. Jesus fucking Christ, you could even ask a god damn nurse what the term means if it confuses you so god damn much. The gloves are off, if you thing the term “end-of-life care” means “euthanasia”, then you should be euthanized: you’re too stupid to live.
“WASHINGTON — Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says the health care overhaul bill would set up a “death panel.” Federal bureaucrats would play God, ruling on whether ailing seniors are worth enough to society to deserve life-sustaining medical care. Palin and other critics are wrong.
Nothing in the legislation would carry out such a bleak vision. The provision that has caused the uproar would instead authorize Medicare to pay doctors for counseling patients about end-of-life care, if the patient wishes.”
